Our Mission:
Per aspera ad astra

Pioneer in Student Rocketry

As a pioneer in student rocketry, Elara Aerospace endeavours to construct the first rocket with a bi-liquid Methalox rocket engine to ascend to an altitude of 100 kilometres. Innovation propels us forward; by pushing the limits with liquid rocket engines, we are able to conduct scientific experiments in the upper atmosphere that are unlike any other. Our objective? Motivate progress in the aerospace industry by providing exceptional prospects for exploration and pioneering revelations. We invite you to collaborate with us as we redefine the boundaries of possibility in the field of aerospace engineering.

Making a lasting impact

Sustainability is part of our core

As a student-led rocketry club, we're on a mission to push the boundaries of innovation while making a lasting positive impact on society, the environment, and the global economy.

Societal Impact

We believe that space exploration and rocketry have the power to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and dreamers. Through our outreach programs, we:

  • Conduct workshops in at leading universities and organizations to spark interest in STEM fields
  • Mentor underprivileged youth, showing them that the sky is not the limit

Environmental Stewardship

Our commitment to the environment is at the core of everything we do:

  • Developing an eco-friendly supply chain and logistics to reduce the carbon footprint of launches
  • Designing reusable rocket components to minimize waste
  • Minimizing engine noise on launch sites and for surrounding areas

Economic Innovation

We're not just building rockets; we're launching careers and driving economic growth:

  • Collaborating with local businesses to source materials and create jobs
  • Incubating new space-tech projects born from our club's innovations
  • Attracting investment to Europe's aerospace sector

Global Perspective

Our work extends beyond borders:

  • Working with international launch providers to foster global cooperation
  • Sharing our source code open-source to accelerate worldwide IT-related aerospace advancements
