Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules and guidelines for using Elara Aerospace’s IT resources, networks, systems, and services. It applies to all members, partners, and other authorized users accessing our technology assets. The purpose of this policy is to protect our systems, data, and users while ensuring productive and appropriate use of company resources.
Acceptable Use
General Guidelines
- Use IT resources primarily for purposes related to your role and responsibilities
- Protect Elara Aerospace’s data and maintain confidentiality
- Follow security best practices like using strong passwords
- Report any suspicious activity or security incidents promptly to the IT administrator
Internet Usage
- Limit personal internet use to reasonable levels that do not interfere with work
- Do not access inappropriate or offensive content
- Do not download unauthorized software or files
- Use caution when clicking links or downloading attachments
Email and Communication
- Use professional language and tone in all communications
- Do not open suspicious emails or attachments
- Do not use Elara Aerospace-branded email for personal business or non-work activities
- Be cautious about sending sensitive information via email
Software and Licensing
- Only use properly licensed and authorized software
- Do not make unauthorized copies of software
- Follow all terms of software licenses and agreements
Company Devices
- Properly secure all company-issued devices
- Do not allow unauthorized individuals to use company devices
- Report lost or stolen devices immediately
Data Protection
- Follow all data protection and privacy policies
- Do not share confidential information externally without authorization
- Use encryption when transmitting sensitive data
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal activities of any kind
- Accessing, downloading, or distributing inappropriate content
- Harassing, discriminating against, or bullying others
- Sharing account credentials
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
- Using company resources for personal financial gain
- Intentionally introducing malware or viruses
- Sending spam or phishing emails
- Violating copyright laws or licensing agreements
- Excessive personal use that impacts productivity
Monitoring and Privacy
Elara Aerospace reserves the right to monitor, access, and review all data and activities on its systems.
Enforcement
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of memberships or contracts. Serious violations may also lead to legal action.
Policy Updates
This policy will be reviewed periodically and may be updated to reflect changes in technology or business needs. Users will be notified of any material changes.
