Research & development / Avaris

Built to
scale.

A family of additively manufactured rocket engines, developed across four thrust classes for the next generation of propulsion systems.

Avaris propulsion programme

One architecture.
Four thrust classes.

Avaris develops multi-metal engines across 1.5, 3, 5, and 28 kN thrust classes. The 1.5–5 kN designs use laser powder bed fusion to integrate chambers, injectors, and cooling channels.
