Munich, Germany: This week, Elara Aerospace had the exceptional opportunity to present at the Münchner Management Kolloquium (MMK), showcasing what is currently believed to be the largest academically developed rocket hopper worldwide.
The presentation of the Hopper hopper represents a pivotal milestone for our team. As the first vehicle ever developed by Elara Aerospace, it marks the definitive beginning of our integrated vehicle development program and our journey toward sovereign suborbital flight.
"The interest in our work at MMK once again showed how valuable the connection between academia and industry truly is. We are solving industrial-grade challenges within a research-driven environment."
A special highlight of the event was the opportunity to present our project to Staatsminister Markus Blume. For the first time, we introduced the Minister to the long-term vision and technical ambitions behind Elara Aerospace, sharing how academically led engineering can contribute significantly to advancing European aerospace innovation.
We also had the honor of showcasing our progress to President Thomas F. Hofmann of the Technical University of Munich. Our exhibit featured not only the Hopper hopper itself but also the high-performance 28 kN e-pump-fed engine that will serve as the heartbeat of our future space shot vehicles.
Beyond the formal presentations, the MMK allowed us to engage deeply with industry leaders, strategic partners, and long-time supporters. These inspiring conversations reinforce our commitment to building a collaborative path to the stars.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who stopped by the Elara booth to learn more about our mission. We are energized by the feedback and excited for the critical test campaigns ahead.
